Allyson Felix
Allyson Michael Felix is an Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. Her father Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley and her mother Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix had an early aptitude for sports when she was in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting talent at that moment. Just 10 weeks after her first attempt, she finished third in the 200 meters during the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix finished high school and signed an agreement to Adidas. In 2004, she was enrolled at an institution called the University of Southern California, which is where she studied elementary education. Felix's first Olympic medal came at the 2004 Summer Olympics, at Athens Greece. Felix set the world junior record by sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. At the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the youngest winner in the world in the 200m. The following year, she won the title against her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix took part in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and was consistently among the top three athletes in each of her events.
